Waste 2004 Conference - Conference Objectives

To provide a forum to facilitate debate and information exchange between regulators, industry representatives and various other affiliated organisations and concerned parties about current and future issues facing those involved in the management of domestic waste streams.

The conference will be aimed primarily at the European audience but the role of the UK in Europe will provide a strong theme.

To raise issues of a UK, European and global relevance by the selection of topics and papers.

To facilitate the highest possible attendance by keeping the cost of attendance to a practical minimum. This will mean running the conference on a not-for-profit basis.

To encourage attendance by overseas delegates.

To encourage attendance by students by subsidising student tickets.
